December 30, 2003: Well, after about three hours of driving around and filming, which was anything but uneventful, we finally got the footage we needed for the final skit of Season 2, Episode 2. It is now only a matter of time before I complete the editing and upload the episode... -stf |
December 26, 2003: Over the last couple of weeks I have graduated college, have been busy with Christmas, and have been very sick. I am still somewhat sick and thus I have not yet been able to complete the final skit for Season 2, Episode 2. Please be patient and bear with us; we will eventually get the episode to you. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year... -stf |

December 16, 2003: I am now on the verge of completing my undergraduate education and graduation is this coming weekend. Several members of the cast, including myself, will be getting together at that time and it is very possible that we may complete the filming for the final skit of the next episode. I will keep you all updated... -stf |
December 7, 2003: Well, we are only one filming session away from having the filming completed for Season 2, Episode 2. The problem is, I don't know when that is going to get done. In the meantime, you can go check out a cool homegrown site I just added to the Similar Sites page. The group is called WKH. They have been around for quite some time and have some good videos, as well as a Homegrown webring and Homegrown video of the month feature. Give them a look... -stf |
December 2, 2003: I have just updated the Crazy Search Phrases page. We also did some filming while I was off for Thanksgiving Break and we got 2 new skits filmed and edited. There is very little left to film for Season 2, Episode 2 now. If you want to get updates before you see them in the news on this page, you can check out the News and Announcements section of the message board... -stf |
November 24, 2003: A lot of my time lately has been spent on promoting the site and we have received several new links from other websites, including Cripple Productions and Linkswarm.com. Our good friends at M4Stunts have also done a nice site redesign, so go and check that out. I am going home for break and hopefully I will bring back the rest of the 2nd episode of Season 2 with me so that I can get it out for everyone before Christmas... -stf |
November 19, 2003: Just a quick update to let you know that, yes, I am alive and well. I am also happy to inform you that the Redneck Jokes page has finally been updated with 147 new jokes. That means there is now a grand total of 725 redneck jokes in the list. If you want to comment on them or on anything else, please feel free to visit our new forum... -stf |

November 11, 2003: I have now put up a forum/message board for this is... bill. If you've ever wanted to leave us feedback and just never bothered or you are just looking for a good place to talk online, then give it a try. You can get started by clicking here... -stf |
November 7, 2003: As I forecasted in the last news update, Season 1, Episode 1 downloads are back up, along with a low quality version of Season 2, Episode 1. Check them out on the Episode Downloads page... -stf |
November 6, 2003: I have posted the new Season 2 wallpapers on the Wallpapers page. In addition, the high and low versions for Season 1, Episode 1 and the low version for Season 2, Episode 1 should be up sometime in the next few days... -stf |
November 3, 2003: As you can see near at the top of the page, I have created a new 468x60 banner for Season 2 that is now available on the Link To Us page... -stf |
November 1, 2003: There are several things to mention today. First of all, I have updated the Crazy Search Phrases page, adding the phrases from October. Also, I updated my picture in my profile and added one new similar site: BTD Productions. Additionally there are some new videos out by two of our online compatriots: Local Felons (Inhuman Creation Station, The Return Of...) and Rebels of Egypt (Issues). Click on either of those names to visit their site and view their new videos. In terms of our second episode of Season 2, I completed the preliminary order of the skits on paper, but we still have plenty of filming left to do and it may take awhile for us to get it done, so sit tight; it will be worth the wait... -stf |
October 29, 2003: We filmed a new skit tonight, entitled Asleep At The Whizz. It fits very nicely into the next episode, for which I just prepared a preliminary list of the order of skits. Even with that done, we still have a good amount of stuff left to film. On a side note, I uploaded my cover of the Lionel Richie song Hello that I recorded in my college dorm room on a camcorder microphone. You can download it by clicking here or by going to my profile page and clicking on "singing" under my hobbies list... -stf |
October 28, 2003: After adding the iframe and quickly vaulting to the number one spot on the Jackass 100 once more, we have been flooded with downloads like never before. In fact, people have begun to post links to Season 2, Episode 1 all over the internet. When I find places that link the episodes or the site, I usually try to return the favor. In this case, you can visit a couple of new sites listed under Cool Sites, including a very cool daily linkdump style site called Coolios. With their link, along with several other new ones, daily downloads of the episodes have multiplied about tenfold and they seem to be steadily increasing as well. It is possible that we will exceed our bandwidth limit for our current hosting plan in the next few days, so bear with us if the site goes down. I came up with a new skit today that will nicely round out the second episode of Season 2. I plan to film it sometime this week... -stf |
October 23, 2003: I am adding the Jackass 100 iframe back to the main page for a week or so in order to get some more visibility for the new episode. The main page may load a little bit slower than normal... -stf |
October 22, 2003: I hope everyone is enjoying the new episode. We've been getting rave reviews about it from all around. I made a few site changes here and there over the past few days, the most notable of which is adding the visits counter into the menu for data collection purposes. I also set its count very close to its correct total, which we get in a seperate report. I finally added 4 new Which of The Following... jokes to that page and fixed some formatting errors on it. We hope to do some of the final filming for Season 2, Episode 2 this weekend and hopefully we can get that up for download sometime in November... -stf |
October 17, 2003: The day is finally here. Season 2, Episode 1 can now be downloaded from the Episode Downloads page. However, I have now removed Season 1, Episode 1 from the server. For now, the only way you can obtain it is to either order the official VCD for that episode by email or possibly download it from KaZaA/Morpheus. The information and screenshots for the new episode are also online on the new Season 2 page... -stf |

October 14, 2003: Filming for the first episode of Season 2 is complete and the editing is in progress. The official release date will be Friday, October 17th. The episode is going to be about 29 minutes long. Also, you can now go over and check out the new Agent Zero video from The Local Felons... -stf |
October 9, 2003: I have added two new links to similar sites: Descend2Flames and Stupid People Do Stupid Things. Both sites contain some pretty intense skits. You can also check out the new video over at Rebels of Egypt, called Nachos. It is very similar to a skit we did earlier this year (The Tethered Triatholon) that will be in the second episode of Season 2... -stf |
October 8, 2003: Just a quick update on the progress of Season 2. I have converted and edited At-Home Medical Tip #4: Self-Chiropracty, Golf Shot 2, Firecracker Pockets, and The Conglomerate Sandwich. There is only one skit left to film (Code Name: PTQ) for the first episode of Season 2 and we are very likely filming it this Friday night. There is a good chance you will be seeing that episode released sometime next week... -stf |
October 1, 2003: I have added the Crazy Search Phrases for the month of September. I have also made an update to the You Might Be A Redneck If... page, adding about 40 new ones... -stf |
September 30, 2003: First off, the release of the first episode of season two is going to have to be pushed back about a week due to some equipment problems. However, I this last weekend, the other two remaining skits for that episode were filmed: At-Home Medical Tip #4: Self-Chiropracty and Golf Shot #2. They turned out very good. Also, I have finally added Jayson Morgan's profile. You can view it by clicking here... -stf |
September 24, 2003: Today and yesterday I added a ton of new links to the site, mostly in the links exchange section. I did add a pretty cool new similar site called Industry of Affliction. I recommend you check them out. Also, as you can see in the menu, I have added a new section for the trailers. I completed the Season 1 trailer and you can download it from that page. It replaces all of the old Season 1 previews, which have now been removed. The release for Season 2, Episode 1 is starting to look more and more like it will be around the end of the first week in October or during that next week, but don't hold me to it... -stf |
September 22, 2003: We are preparing for the final stretch fo filming for Seaosn 2. In fact, the last two major skits we have planned demonstrate a move towards more extensive public prank type skits, as you will see in the two Season 2 episodes. Also, I am in the process of switching all fo our files over to WMV format. The Season 2 trailer now comes in the form of high and low quality WMV versions and the MPEG version is now removed. In coming weeks you will likely see our antiquated Season 1 perview clips replaced by an all purpose Season 1 trailer as well. Anyways, here are the new links and remember: Right click the link and choose Save Target As... -stf

September 18, 2003: Just when you thought it looked like there were no more redneck jokes to come, I have added 120 new ones. I also filmed a few Webcam Clips today... -stf |
September 17, 2003: First of all, I am making a very substantial change to the site today. The DIVX versions of the episodes are going to be removed and replaced by high and low quality versions of the episodes in the Windows Media Video (WMV) format. This change should greatly benefit users on slower internet connections. The WMV format requires the Windows Media Player. The episodes will temporarily be down while I am uploading the WMV versions of the episodes. Now on to the real news. Last weekend, we filmed four skits of varying lengths, which included two planned ones and two unplanned ones. These got us just a few steps closer to completing the filming for Season 2. You can view the most up to date information on Season 2 by visiting the Season 2 page. In the next three weeks, we should be making a concerted effort at finishing the filming. I had a screening of the current Season 2 material with several college students last night, with universally positive feedback in the form of red faces and constant laughter... -stf |
September 11, 2003: Today is the anniversary of a very sad day, so I hope I can brighten up your day by announcing the official release of the Season 2 trailer. You can download it via the following links and, as always: Right click the link and choose Save Target As.
this is... bill Season 2 Trailer (High Quality) (MPEG1, 12.0 MB) (File Removed)
this is... bill Season 2 Trailer (Low Quality) (WMV, 2.4 MB)
These trailers will also be available for download on the Season 2 page in the future... -stf |

September 2, 2003: Saturday we filmed the final scenes for The Phantom Noodle Menace and post production on it is now complete. We also filmed for Airscare and Earhurt 2. Sunday, we got completely rained out. Monday was Labor Day and our own appointments kept us from filming. Therefore, we had a moderately productive weekend. Today, I added a new section to the website called "Crazy Search Phrases". You can view it under the Other Projects section of the menu... -stf |
August 29, 2003: I am going home for the weekend and we should be doing a decent bit of filming, based upon the enthusiasm of the other cast members. On a side note, our Google Page Rank mysteriously jumped up to 5 in Google's latest Page Rank update. In fact, several of our online Jackass affiliates experienced significant increases in Page Rank, such as The Local Felons (5), PI:EO (5), The Stupid Show (5), and Rebels of Egypt (4). Congratulations to all of them. I would also encourage our visitors to go and check out those sites while you're waiting for this is.. bill's 2nd season to come along... -stf |
August 28, 2003: There has been no filming going on this week, but we should have a good day or two of filming this coming weekend. In the meantime I have been working on creating another website based off of this site's template. You can see it by clicking here. I am adding about six or seven links exchange links today as well... -stf |
August 25, 2003: The start of college has been and will be very hectic for me, however, I did sneak in a few moments to do a few skits here and there. In fact I decided to develop one of those skits, where my "manhood" got absolutely annihilated, into a little preview clip for Season 2, but I have decided to hold off on putting it up and make something more akin to a trailer instead... -stf |
August 22, 2003: I'll be moving into college today and tomorrow, but before doing so, I have updated the events page and Season 2 pages for the community service and filming that we have done over the last several days... -stf |
August 20, 2003: We have finally moved into the top 100,000 sites on the internet by traffic as reported by Alexa, which has been a goal of mine since I realized the rankings existed. Anyways, over the last 2 days we have completed: Deer In The House, Big Baby No-No's, Jayson Does Dumb Stuff, and Tyson Does Dumb Stuff. That's a total of around 5 and a half minutes of Season 2 completed, which is a huge boost. We are now much closer, however a lot of work still remains. I will try to get the Season 2 page updated some time soon. In the meantime I am moving back to college this weekend... -stf |
August 18, 2003: Today I created the list of skits for each episode and finally decided to remove one skit due to its content. However, leaving that skit off and saving it for the eventual DVD does make the bonus features on that DVD seem a lot sweeter, because this skit was a major keeper. Anyways, if you would like to read the list of skits and info on the progress of Season 2, I have made a huge update to the Season 2 page. We are not as far away from completing the season as it seems; the hardest part is getting the entire cast to film consistently. Since we don't get paid to do this stuff, it sometimes makes it hard to get stuff done. Hopefully, we can meet the release dates I have listed for each of the two Season 2 episodes... -stf |
August 17, 2003: The last two days have seen a small amount of filming. On Friday, after another day of community service, I came home and Brandon and I filmed some scenes for Earhurt 2 and a new skit called Airscare. On Saturday, Jayson and I filmed a couple more scenes for Airscare and when Brandon arrived, we filmed a good bit of a skit called The Phantom Noodle Menace. However, while filming at one location, our camera person made a critical error and missed about 75% of the footage, so a lot still remains to film for that skit... -stf |
August 14, 2003: Today was yet another solid day of filming. Jayson and I drove around in an attempt to get some stuff filmed for Cardboard Box Mayhem and Jayson Does Dumb Stuff and we did very well. Also, our Google Page Rank finally went up to 3. My only real website update today is adding a ton more redneck jokes to the list... -stf |
August 12, 2003: We have almost completed filming the popular Webcam Clips for Season 2 and there should be plenty of filming going on this week. Before we use any more film for Mudpuddles 2, we have decided to take the current good takes that we have and use them in the show as small seperate clips or as part of other compilation type skits, so there will be no Mudpuddles 2. I have just added numerous links to the Links Exchange page and have updated the Events page to show the community service that I did today and yesterday. I have also begun work on the Season 2 Wallpapers... -stf |
August 8, 2003: Yesterday we began work on Mudpuddles 2, after a torrential rainfall. We got a lot of good takes and only need one more session of filming to have that skit completed. I have begun actual post-production on the first minute and a half of each of the Season 2 episodes, but there is still a ton of filming to be done... -stf |
August 5, 2003: The last few days were both productive and tragic. First, Jayson worked a little on Jayson Does Dumb Stuff, which in turn replaces Jayson Runs Into Poles. We decided to do this because Jayson is going to be a full cast member for Season 2. Secondly, Brandon slit his right hand and left thumb wide open when he was tipped over in a trash can during some random filming we were doing. He had to get a total of 13 stitches and in one of the Season 2 episodes you will see this perfect of example of the "Don't Try This At Home" slogan coming to life. Finally, I have been adding some sites to the links pages, including a site called Plain Stupidity, which has given us a favorable review, the website for a clean comic strip called Strange Breed, and an extensive funny pictures site called Insane Pictures. Give those sites a look when you get a chance. In the coming week or so you can expect to see another update to the You Might Be A Redneck If page, Jayson Morgan's profile added, and continued updates on our filming progress for Season 2... -stf |
August 2, 2003: After the first 2 days of the golf tournament, I'm completely out of contention. However, I did get to do a pretty crucial skit today called, well, Bum Darts. I am also slightly updating the You Might Be A Redneck If (YMBARI) page... -stf |
August 1, 2003: I have added about 33 links to the Links Exchange page and have updated some tidbits of info here and there. The Burke County Open (golf) starts today, so everyone wish me luck. I'm almost certain to do better than I did last year... -stf |
July 30, 2003: Yesterday was a fantastic day of filming, once again with the help of Jayson Morgan. Jayson started work on his own personal skit: Jayson Runs Into Poles. I'm briefly updating the site right now, adding a few links exchange partners to the links page... -stf |
July 29, 2003: I have some pretty big news today. I can finally update the awards page again because this is... bill has been awarded the Kickass Site of The Week by the Sick Jokes section of About.com. Also, I have added a new link to the similar sites section... -stf |
July 28, 2003: Oh it's on now. Today, a new kid named Jayson Morgan joined our ranks as a guest star for Season 2. In his first day of filming, he single-handedly completed the footage we needed for Playground Mischief, though we failed at our attempts to work on the Jack In The Box skit. Anyways, we'd like to welcome Jayson to the show and remind everyone to make sure and look out for his appearances in Season 2... -stf, dbw, etc |
July 25, 2003: Today I restructured the Links pages and added a new link. I finished editing the Classic Clips for this season as well... -stf, etc |
July 24, 2003: Over the last few days, filming has been scarce, but we were able to pull off a couple of skits, including one you will see in Season 2: Beauty Sleep. I have made a list of changes I wish to make on the site over the coming months, but for now, I have added a little page where you can view site statistics for www.billtvshow.com as reported by Alexa and possibly more in the future... -stf |
July 20, 2003: Last night I filmed a short little skit called The Lego "Spaceship" with my nephew Nicholas. I also started using a new traffic machine called Screenblaze. If you would like to sign up for it, just click here... -stf |
July 18, 2003: Yesterday, we filmed for out in the field for awhile. The first skit we took a shot at was Cardboard Box Mayhem, which we have tenatively renamed Jack In The Box. We ran out of boxes too fast, so off we went to Wendy's for Burger Dig, a skit in which I starred. The setup of the restaurant did not lend itself well to filming with the camera well hidden, but the skit still turned out DVD worthy. Finally, we went to the Arby's across town and we we're planning on doing the same skit, when Brandon informed me off a better skit idea: Stuck In A Trash Can. The skit totals a little over 2 minutes after editing. It is definitly episode worthy, but I am always wary about putting any non-compilation skits in the episodes that last over 2 minutes. We will probably do some preliminary audience tests on that skit among others. Anyways, tonight we are off to play a little but of Halo and tomorrow is a big golf tournament, but I'll continue to keep you informed of our progress... -stf |
July 16, 2003: First off, Michael's birthday was yesterday, so I wish him a happy belated birthday; he should be filming his group of At-Home Medical Tips for Season 2 very soon. I should also wish my oldest brother John a happy belated birthday and thank him for both his occasional help with the show and for lending his kids to help me with skits now and then. Secondly, we filmed a new Big Baby skit when I went to the pool and we also began filming the new Cardboard Box Mayhem skit. Third, you may notice a little icon next to http://www.billtvshow.com in your address bar or favorites menu, because I finally made a custom favicon.ico file for our site. Finally, and perhaps most suprisingly, I added a few new sites to the "Cool Sites" list, of which I must definitely recommend you go look at www.cockeyed.com. The filming for Season 2 has slowed a little, but we are still on pace to release the episodes sometime around August to September... -stf |
July 13, 2003: As promised, I have now removed the iframe from the bottom of the page. We had close to 5000 "votes" the last time around. Anyways, I am heading up to a pool in the mountains and I'm gonna take the camcorder along. Who knows, something good may come out of it... -stf |
July 11, 2003: Yesterday was a great day for filming. Brandon started what might turn out to be one of the best bill skits ever, all involving a large cardboard box. He also took a football kickoff to the back as well, which was pretty funny. My skit was having a little cactus thrown into my back, but the lighting was bad, so you may only see that one on the DVD, if we ever make one. Today, we added on to the cardboard box footage, with the help of some great kids: Vince, Travis, and Brittany. I have also added a link to a site under Similar Sites for The Stupid Show. I am also updating some meta-tags to make the site more search-engine friendly. I should be taking off the iframe after the next reset of the Jackass 100. Finally, we are switching to a Sitemeter.com counter, in light of the negative changes to our Bravenet counter... -stf |
July 9, 2003: First of all, the iframe I put at the bottom of the main page has gotten us over 1300 votes at this time, which is pretty cool, but I will take it off eventually, that wouldn't be fair to the other sites using it. Secondly, we filmed some Big Baby No-No's yesterday, which was also my 21st birthday. Finally, I have added a few more links to some Pill places and such, which I got like 7 emails from in the last couple of days... -stf |
July 5, 2003: We finished filming a rather intense skit called The Tethered Triatholon and another skit involving a bullwhip. Other than that, nothing much has been goin on with the show. We have all been making good use of the 4th of July weekend. Anyways, for just a limited time, I am adding an iframe of the Jackass 100 site to the very bottom of the main page. If it works right, we should very very easily be number one after the next reset. We have been doing very good in the Alexa Traffic rankings at www.alexa.com, even reaching up into the top 60,000 most visited sites on the net... -stf |
July 1, 2003: Yesterday we filmed a little bit of Canteloupe Dodgeball and it turned out somewhat good. We may have to either redo it or film some additional footage for it to give it a little bit more edge for the show. Anyways, hope everyone has a great 4th of July; we may be filming another fireworks related skit in the spirit of the holiday... -stf |
June 29, 2003: First off, we have filmed a few new videos and basically all of them are instant classics. One of them I'm not talking about, you'll just have to wait and see it. The others have been added to the Season 2 page list. I'll just say that a couple of them involve fireworks. Secondly, I am updating the links page. A new "Similar Site" has been added called Pieo. If their videos are as good as their site looks, then they'll be just fine. Thirdly, I have cleaned up some grammatical stuff here and there and have both added new Redneck Jokes and changed the Canned Food Drive Event information to reflect that it will be in Late July... -stf |
June 25, 2003: We have finally settled on what Season 2 will consist of. Because of time constraints and jobs, we are not able to film as much as we would like and none of wants to risk our ability to do real jobs, therefore, Season 2 will once again only be two episodes, however, you can expect a rise in the quality and outrageousness of the skits you will see in Season 2. We have condensed our master list of skits into a tighter list and will begin filming those soon. Also, because we are only doing two episodes, we hope to release the episodes easily by the end of summer. In relation to the site, I did some minor info updates on a few pages and I added some stuff to the Season 2 page and Redneck Jokes page... -stf |
June 21, 2003: Just a quick update, we haven't been doing much filming lately and Season 2 is definately a bit behind schedule. I've added some links over the last week or so, but that's about all I've done to the site. There hasn't been alot to update... -stf |
June 13, 2003: Both yesterday and today we filmed a plethora of cool clips. We continue to film at a moderate pace and hopefully we will be able to get Season 2 finished by the end of the summer. In terms of site updates, I am only making one today and that is changing Tyson's age to 17 because today is his birthday. We salute him and the work he has done over the last few months, including Ladder Tackle, a skit that you will in a Season 2 episode coming in the fall... -stf |
June 12, 2003: Yesterday we did a small bit of filming and got a couple of keeper clips. I also updated the events page and added a new link. I may post some Season 2 pictures in the near future... -stf |
June 10, 2003: Yesterday we filmed the first clips of what may prove to be a very cool skit called Wheelcharin'. Today, we plan on working over at The Outreach Center to do some community service. In terms of the website, I have just updated the Season 2 page briefly, added info to the events page, and updated the site map. Make sure to keep an eye out for info about the Canned Food Drive coming up really soon... -stf |
June 8, 2003: Today has been fairly uneventful, however, it is possible that we may film two of Season 2's At-Home Medical Tips tonight. Anyways, the biggest news is that I have uploaded the Season 1 Wallpaper set, which can be downloaded from the wallpapers page. Give them a look... -stf |
June 7, 2003: Nathan's tryouts have been postponed due to rain and we hope to get that done soon. In the meanwhile, Brandon and I filmed a few skits yesterday and today I added a new link and some banners to the "Similar Sites" section of the Links page... -stf |
June 5, 2003: Today was our first major day of filming for Season 2, with almost the whole day set aside for doing skits. We spent about 5 hours filming such skits as Bush Diving, Playground Mischief, and Greenway Convulsions. Of course you won't get to see these incredible videos until Season 2 comes out and that's a long ways off. Also, my cousin Nathan is doing his tryout tomorrow (Friday) and hopefully all will go well and we can get his tryout in the books... -stf |
June 4, 2003: Today we worked on mainly on two skits: one called Line Drive and adding to our Bush Diving footage. Hopefully none of us got any poison oak, though there was some around. Additionally, I have updated the You Might Be A Redneck If... list. Take a look at the new ones and have a laugh... -stf |
June 3, 2003: Alot has gone on since I last updated the site. First, we filmed several first class skits and we may put up preview pictures of the skits on the Season 2 page soon. One skit is called Hot Gravy, while another is called Kiddy Pool Cannonball. Secondly, I am in the process of creating a set of wallpapers for Season 1. I have three of them completed and when all are done, I will post them on the site for download. Third, I have updated all profiles on the site with their correct skit credits. Fourth, I added two new Which of The Followings to the page. Finally, I added a sitemap to the menu. My next projects are to update the Redneck Jokes and Which of The Following lists and add an events page for past and current events related to the show... -stf |

May 29, 2003: I have fixed the javascript popup errors that I know of and that's all I've done to the site. However, we did do a couple of webcams and a little filming in the last two days. Tomorrow is Brandon's birthday. Yes, the very one all of us American kids dream of: 21. We have one cast tryout tenatively scheduled for Saturday and hopefully more the following week... -stf |

May 27, 2003: I am making perhaps one of the largest updates I have ever made to the site today. I have moved some things around so that the site will be more functional and have added some missing info here and there. There are some javascript errors that I need to fix and will very soon now that I know how to. The site continues to improve and the second season filming is about to begin en masse, as long as my semi-dislocated kneecap holds out... -stf |

May 24, 2003: Today was moving day for cast member Brandon Woodie, who is moving from the home he has been in for the last 9 years. But, he's not going far, so don't worry folks; his new house is just a few miles up the road. Anyways, I have just made a list of some website changes that need to be made and I will get to them within the next few days. Some are just little tweaks here and there and some are moving things around and filling in the few remaining gaps that there are. So, check back as much as you can and make sure to vote for us in the two Jackass Top Sites lists that we are on... -stf |

May 23, 2003: Today I added a new link and a new banner (88x31) to our links page and added a "Link To Us" item to our menu. We are currently planning a canned food drive event in our local area, which will be sponsored by this is... bill, and may soon be making announcements about it. As a side note, it is very likely that our site will reach its 10,000th hit sometime today or in the next couple of days, so congratulations to all who have helped along the way, this is a pretty cool milestone... -stf |

May 22, 2003: I just added two new banners to the links page, one that is 120x60 and another that is 140x25. Also, the other day I purchased my first personal camorder, a JVC MiniDV. The same day we filmed our first skit on the new camcorder, which is called The Tethered Yard Dash. I have also updated the tryouts info on the Season 2 page with a deadline. We may put up a Season 2 preview clip for a limited time in the coming weeks... -stf |

May 15, 2003: We will soon be holding tryouts for the fifth cast member of this is... bill. The individual chosen will be in skits in at least 3 episodes of Season 2, if not all 4 episodes. If you are interested, simply email the webmaster, however we are only looking for people in Western North Carolina. For the tryouts fomat, look on the Season 2 Updates page... -stf |

May 13, 2003: this is... bill's website has won a 2003-2004 Golden Web Award. Most of that credit goes to our Web Design guy, Kevin England. On another note, we are going to start filming the 2nd season skits full time now that school and college are almost over... -stf, etc |

May 5, 2003: I have posted our first official banner on the links page. If you want to link to our site, just put that banner on your site. I am still trying to promote the show on KaZaA and related websites and have received positive reviews across the board from what few people I have reached. More to come... -stf |

April 30, 2003: First of all, we won the UNCC Student Film Festival award last Saturday and I have now put up an awards page, with a webcam pic of the certificate. Secondly, as you can see by the general info change on the main page, we have gone live with the show. We have had many downloads off of the hidden page for prospective sharers on KaZaA and we even had our first official download of the show off of KaZaA yesterday. We hope for more and more people to share the show that we have made. As a minor note, I added mine and Brandon's pictures to our cast profiles. I will probably be doing a general cleaning up of the site and filling in of blanks next week in the evenings. Look for changes and updates then. I also hope to add a section to inform you of our progress and some of the skits you can expect to see in Season 2... -stf |

April 24, 2003: I am making major updates to the site in preparation to release the episodes of Season 1. The updates to the main page are obvious. Throughout most of the night, I will be updating places here and there on the site and trying to fill in the missing pages. Be looking to see if the show is on KaZaA and Morpheus in the next couple of weeks... -stf |

April 23, 2003: We are on the verge of going live with the show. The site is almost finished to the point that we will are comfortable with it. A big thanks goes out to Kevin England for that. As a side note, this Saturday at 2:00pm, at least one episode of the show will be aired at the UNC-Charlotte Student Film Festival in McKnight Hall. Check back in the next week or so for more information on the release and let me know if you want to help out with distributing the episodes. Email me by clicking here... -stf |

March 27, 2003: I have just added the PayPal Donation link on the Donations page. That link will also be placed on this front page when the site redesign is done, which is coming along at a steady pace. Basically, when the redesign is done, I will begin to get the episodes out to the network. I have also been adding some links to our links page, which are part of a link exchange, but they don’t seem to be generating any traffic. If you would like to trade links, just let me know: EMAIL -stf |

March 21, 2003: It has been a few days since I’ve updated you, but I do have big news. The site will be undergoing a major facelift over the next week or so. As a matter of fact, you won’t even be able to recognize it when it changes. The design is being done by a long time Internet friend of mine and it should have a much more professional schema versus the “tired old hack” look that it has now. Until then, help yourself to the new Episode 2 preview clips by clicking here. Hey people, we’re on the move, and the release of episodes is not that far away. I’m even considering using the server space to host both divx versions of the episodes, which would be a big bonus for initial distribution… -stf |

March 18, 2003: Woohoo! The domain is now working and I have installed a counter for hits that is below the copyright info in the frame. The counter is from www.bravenet.net. I am also adding a links page that will have links to our known advertisers, various useful sites, and whatever we want to put in there. Look for more updates perhaps today and probably tomorrow… -stf |

March 17, 2003: Well I had a nice spring break and I played golf nearly every day, but now it is time to get back to work. First off, the biggest thing to mention is that the www.billtvshow.com domain will be in effect very soon. The site is now hosted by www.jiffynet.net, which is just a great hosting service. The site is uploaded on to the jiffynet server, but the domain name has not yet resolved. Secondly, now that I have the space available, I have uploaded the first set of preview clips for Season 01, Episode 01. They are in MPEG1 format and can be viewed on this page. Finally, I have updated the redneck jokes with a few new ones and have edited it to remove the most offensive and tasteless ones. Coming soon I hope to finish all of the profiles and information on them and also add the second episode preview clips. The day that we actually release the episodes is fast approaching! Keep a look out… -stf |

March 7, 2003: I have just added the one, the only You Might Be A Redneck If… list to the Other Projects. Go check it out. The jokes are originals created by Brandon and I. I am going to be off for spring break this coming week, so you may not see much done to the website, but we will likely be filming a good bit… -stf |

March 3, 2003: Over the weekend, I added Nicholas’ profile to The Guests section. This week will be a very busy one for me and I doubt greatly that I will have time to make any significant updates to the site… -stf |

February 28, 2003: I have made no updates today, but I can give you a preview of things to come. In the next couple of weeks: 1 – I will finish up the profiles for everyone, 2 – attempt to get real hosting for the site and change our domain nameservers so that we can begin using the www.billtvshow.com domain, 3 – continue to update the other projects section some, 4 – finalize the actual files that are going to be shared, and 5 – continue to look for more promotional and advertising possibilities… -stf |

February 27, 2003: Today I added the Skits that Brandon and myself were in to our profiles and will update that list on all the profiles soon. I have also been working on a list of places to do promotionals with when we release the show. Eventually, I will add a page that has links to all of our advertisers/promoters… -stf |

February 25, 2003: I added Martha and Justin’s profiles to The Guests and The Help sections today. I also added some more Which Of The Followings to the Other Projects section… -stf |

February 24, 2003: We are looking to get real hosting at some point during the next few weeks. We have a specific and plan picked out and our domain name www.billtvshow.com has been reserved for quite some time. All we have to do is get everything set into motion. I posted Sean’s profile in The Guests section and updated Tyson’s profile in The Cast section. The Guest and Help profiles contain less information than The Cast profiles. I have also converted the original MPEG1 files into Real Media files, which are substantially smaller in file size than the MPEG1’s at only a slight cost to picture quality. I’m going to experiment with MPEG4 soon… -stf |

February 20, 2003: The website has received even more updates today and the basic layout is now in place. There is still a lot to fill in. Both episodes now have screen shots available for viewing of The Episodes page. You will notice I have added a new section to this main page that tells how the episodes can be obtained. I will update that section appropriately when the episodes are actually released… -stf |

February 19, 2003: I have been working on the website constantly over the past couple of days and things are really starting to come together. There are still a lot of sections to fill in, but the site is well on its way. Check out The Episodes section, which now includes screen shots for the first episode of Season One. More to come soon… -stf |

February 18, 2003: We have been running through ideas for Season 2 and currently we have about 100 – 150. We have also filmed a couple of the skits for Season 2, including The Conglomerate Sandwich and Firecracker Pockets. Full time filming for Season 2 will begin as soon as we have begun distributing the two episodes that comprise Season 1. We are also mulling over the idea of adding a fifth cast member for Season 2, but nothing is confirmed yet… -stf |
