November 25, 2004: I have another update with regards to the "Beauty Sleep" video that I mentioned in the last news update. Apparently, it has spread all over the internet, far beyond just that one site. I have seen it posted on such sites as Fugly.com and Collegehumor.com, both of which get immense amounts of traffic. It is entirely possible that our "lipstick shot" video (as it is being called) has been seen by several million people. On another note, I am working on the new website once again... -stf |

November 20, 2004: Unfortunately, I don't have any news on the new website. It is on hold for right now. However, Tyson was browsing the net today and found that one of our videos was posted on the popular Big-Boys.com website about ten days ago. They posted the skit "Beauty Sleep" and it has already had over 10,000 votes cast on it, which is only a percentage of the actual views it has received. You can view the video and the various comments on it by clicking here... -stf |

September 28, 2004: We are not dead. With that said, yes, it has been a dreadfully long since you last got any news out of us. Not having kept up with how many visitors we have been getting, I am happy to see that there is still a steady flow of 500+ of you guys and gals each day. I am working full time now and my planned format changes for the site have been derailed temporarily, but I should be converting the site over to its new format in the next month. The changes themselves are about one-third completed and will make the site much more durable for the future. Essentially, this site will become an original entertainment website, with this is... bill having less focus and the "Other Content" sections becoming major sections on the site. But don't worry, all of the videos will still be here. Anyways, keep a look out... -stf |

August 25, 2004: There are no updates to make right now, but I have some news. One of this is... bill's very biggest fans, my cousin Josh, was hit by a truck while skateboarding just a little while ago and has sustained some pretty bad injuries and we'd like to wish him the best in a speedy and full recovery... -stf |
August 10, 2004: Things have been quite slow lately. We had planned to do some filming just so we could bring you some new videos, but scheduling to get together has not been successful. I should be making an update to the redneck jokes soon, as well as some other minor parts of the site. For now, you can enjoy this seperate clip of Golf Shot 2: Download in WMV format... -stf |
July 14, 2004: As you can see, there hasn't been much happening with the site lately. To be quite honest with our fans, Season 3 is in limbo at the moment. Time has become quite an issue for all of our cast members as of late and with all of us busy and occupied with other things, it is difficult to focus energies on this is... bill, but keep watching the site for updates... -stf |
June 28, 2004: Well, Brandon is finally back from his honeymoon and things around here have been pretty crazy lately, so not a lot has been getting done. I did manage to do another photoshop contest entry recently, which is now posted and I should be adding several new links to similar sites soon, as the requests have been increasing lately... -stf |
June 17, 2004: My latest photoshop contest entry has been posted in that section. Also, Brandon and Leslie are getting married this Saturday and I'd like to wish them the best as they head to the beach for a nice long honeymoon... -stf |

June 15, 2004: The entire Morganton film festival was quite disappointing, as a host of technical problems kept us from showing our video until the very last hour of the event. However, many people did get to see the film and we got to do a lot of local promotion during the two days. As for filming news, I have received word that the Homegrown Showdown that we were to be a part of is now likely cancelled. However, we are still going to be filming more Hunt 2 clips. In the meantime, you can check out the latest Cut skit that has just been added to the site. It is a 2003 remake of a 1998 bill skit entitled "Deer In The House"... -stf |
June 11, 2004: Today I have a couple of major updates to make. First of all, our showing at The Tour D'Art Film Festival was postponed today due to technical problems, but our film will be shown tomorrow (Saturday) at some point beginning after 12:00 pm. Myself and other members of the cast plan on being there beginning at 2:00 pm and on until the showings end. The actual showing is taking place at Morganton, NC City Hall. There is a large sign with "this is... bill" on it and where to go right in the main courtyard of the City Hall. We look forward to seeing any of our local fans there. The second major update I have to make is the addition of 5 new Hunt 2 clips to the site for your viewing pleasure. Simply visit "The Hunt 2" page and you can check them out there. The new ones are highlighted in red... -stf |
June 10, 2004: This is kind of late notice, but I only found out about the times yesterday. The Tour D'Art Film Festival begins tomorrow and our film (The Best of this is... bill) will be showing from 4-7 pm both tomorrow (Friday) and the day after tomorrow (Saturday) at the Morganton City Hall. I am not sure of the exact location in the building myself, but if you come, they will be able to direct you there. If you plan on coming, please email me by clicking here, so that I can help you more if needed. I will be posting new Hunt 2 clips sometime in the next 2 days... -stf |
June 8, 2004: Today I am adding a new section to the site, which will feature our entries into The Hunt 2, which is being hosted by WKHVideos.com. We have currently filmed 9 of the tasks and I will be adding these and the new ones that we film to The Hunt 2 page over time. I have already added three of the hunt video to the page: Towel Whips, Face Plant, and the awesome Mobile Bush Dive. I have also added links to GOGSTV and Lil' Jackass, under the Similar Sites section... -stf |
June 3, 2004: There is quite a bit of news to report today. I recently reported in a news update that we were going to do "The Hunt 2", which is being held by the guys at WKH. In fact, on Tuesday evening, we filmed four of the tasks for that hunt, which is the first official filming we have done since January, when we finished up Season 2, with the skit Mental Breakdown. However, we may in fact not enter "The Hunt 2". Another competition is approaching that interests us much more, which is The Homegrown Showdown 2004. Essentially, homegrown Jackass/CKY groups compete in head to head filming of skits in a bracket-style format. I will give you more news soon as to the status of this is... bill, with regards to both events. Also, you may have perhaps noticed the change in the banner in the header at the top of the page. I have been working on a new logo to use in our Season 3 productions and this is our first banner bearing this new logo/branding that I have come up with. Sometime soon, I will also be adding several new different sizes of banners with the new logo on them. There is also a new wallpaper up on the wallpapers page if you'd like to get that... -stf |
May 30, 2004: I have added the individual skit page for Webcam Clips #1, which has some nice inside info on how we make some of the sound effects that you hear in the Webcam Clip skits. I have also added the link for Elm Grove Project to the main page. If you thought our website was down for a long time, then you don't know these guys. Their site has been down for around a year, but is finally returning soon in all its glory. EGP is one of the groups we are considering doing a co-op with in Season 3, so make sure and check them out... -stf |
May 29, 2004: Three more individual skit pages have been added to the episode guide, which completes about half of the first episode... -stf |

May 28, 2004: I have added another skit page to the Season 1, Episode 1 episode guide. Slowly, but surely, I am completing it. Additionally, I have finally updated the Redneck Jokes with 27 new ones. Also, there are two big milestones coming up for the cast members this Memorial Day weekend. Tomorrow morning, Tyson graduates from high school and on Sunday, Brandon turns 22. Congratulations go out to both of them... -stf |
May 27, 2004: There are currently some issues involving our entry into the Tour D'Art Film Festival. Whether we get to show it or not is up in the air due to some scheduling conflicts by the festival's commitee. So if you have plans to be there, make sure and check here and on the Events page for updates. Well, as promised, I have added another cut clip. This time, it is a skit that was cut from Season 1 entitled "The Lawnmower Prank"... -stf |
May 26, 2004: After a cast meeting this afternoon, we have tenatively decided to participate in the scavenger hunt being held on WKHVideos.com. With over 50 tasks in the hunt, we will get a lot of new fooatge and this will become Season 3, Episode 1: The Hunt. After that, we will likely be filming the rest of Season 3, which should include at least 2 additional episodes of our own original material, possibly including a collaboration with another group. As for the site, all I am doing today is adding another link to the group Boredom-Induced... -stf |
May 24, 2004: I haven't made any significant updates lately, outside of adding links to some more Homegrown Jackass groups and the new Homegrownforums.com to the main page. In the coming week you should expect an update to the Redneck Jokes and another cut clip to be added... -stf |

May 18, 2004: I have updated the FAQ just a bit and have added some redneck jokes that I had lost but found today while going through some old papers. I have also added a couple more sites under our main page affiliates. The forum may be put back online soon as well. Although we lost all of the posts from the old one, I hope the old fans and new alike will flock to it to make it active once more... -stf |
May 13, 2004: I have corrected several errors around the site today, including some broken image links in the episode guides and incorrect alt text for many of those images. I have also added one more skit page to the S01E01 episode guide and have added one more of my songs to the singing page... -stf |
May 10, 2004: The page to download Stephen's songs has finally been put back on the site again. You can find it under the Other Content section of the menu. Three songs are currently uploaded and more will be added in the coming months. There is also a new Cut skit in on the Cuts page, so you can check that out... -etc |
May 7, 2004: I have just added a new section to the site, which features skits that were cut from previous seasons. The cut skits are really for the true fans out there who might be thirsting for more. To kick off the new section, I have added the first of these videos, which is The 7th Inning Scream. I will be releasing more of them It was cut for poor camerawork by yours truly. I have also added a couple of new Similar Sites, including Socalpranks and Phoenix Crew, so check them out... -stf |
May 5, 2004: This is just a quick note for those who keep up with the Photoshop Contest entries that I do. I won the contest that began last Saturday and have added the winning entry to that section of the site, so go check it out if you would like... -stf |
May 2, 2004: We received a couple of fan videos recently from a foreign music group called Jailbreak. You can visit their site by clicking here. The first video seems to be a guy breaking a carrot or something like a carrot over his head. You can download it by clicking here. The second is one of the guys imitating our signature Haybales skit and he even says, "Hi, this is... bill". You can download it by clicking here. I have also added a couple more new individual skit pages to the Season 1, Episode 1 episode guide... -stf |

April 29, 2004: I have started work on creating individual pages for each skit that we've done for the show. These pages will contain behind the scenes info and lots of screenshots for all those true fans out there. They will be made available as part of the episode guides. The first three skit pages are currently available for the first three skits of Season 1, Episode 1. Just go to the episode guide section for that episode and click on the skit name. I will be updating these every so often until I have all of them done through The Best of this is... bill. Also, we are very appreciative of all the recent fan mail we've been receiving since The Best Of... went online; thank all of you for the support. The Best Of... has already been downloaded several thousand times and episode downloads are subsequently up as well, so things are going very well. I am adding my most recent photoshop contest entry, so check that out if you like those. And finally, I am making an update that I know alot of people have been waiting for since the site came back online. During our trip to the UNCC Film Festival and in the days since then, we've had a lot of time to work on some new Redneck Jokes. There are 51 new ones posted, bringing the all time total up to 1104. Also, remember that the pages are split up now into 500 jokes per page and you will need to go to page 3 to the see the new ones from this update... -stf |
April 26, 2004: We successfully retained our title at the 2nd annual UNCC Film Festival, for one main reason. They didn't give out awards this year. The film festival was simply an exhibition. The competition would have been a bit more fierce this year. Our primary competitor would have been the film "Burning Darkness", which was produced by Ryan Haru Filmen Productions. The film is a fantasy epic, with quite nice special effects and a good plot. Click here to visit the production website and click here to view info on the movie "Burning Darkness". The other compeition included a very short film called Trivial Pursuit of Death and a long video showcasing skits from Z-Axis Productions, which is based out of Concord, NC. A good time was had by all and we are now looking forward to our next film festival, which is in our hometown of Morganton, NC... -stf |
April 25, 2004: The Best of this is... bill is now available for download on the episode downloads page in both high and low WMV format. I have also been updating various tidbits off information around the site, including Brandon and Leslie's profiles. Also, the 2nd Annual UNCC Film Festival is today at 5:00pm, so if you can come, we'd love to see you there. We are leaving right now to drive down there. Coincidentally, we are also celebrating 150,000 visitors today... -stf |
April 22, 2004: I have now added AIM Buddy Icons for all 5 cast member now. Grab you one and support the site... -stf |
April 21, 2004: I have just added the "Best of..." episode guide, which has 24 screenshots from selected parts of the video. Just a reminder, for those of you interested, the UNCC film festival is this Sunday evening. Check the events page for more details. We will be premiering The Best of this is... bill at the film festival and already have many people coming, so feel free to join in if you are in the area. Also, I'd like to send a special "Get well soon" to Joe Armstrong from the group "Live Now, Die Later". Apparently he was burned very badly while filming recently and unfortunately learned the hard way how dangerous doing this kind of stuff can be, especially playing with fire. You can send messages of support to: MTDfilms@aol.com or visit the LNDL site for more info by clicking here... -stf |
April 19, 2004: The Jackass 100 iframe is back up on the main page only. I have also split the Redneck Jokes up into 3 pages. Each page will contain 500 jokes a piece. There are currently 1054... -stf |
April 18, 2004: The hamfest went pretty well. We donated some CD's to the hamfest that were given away in drawings and all day long we had people watching the show at our table. Today I am updating Jayson's profile and the redneck jokes page... -stf |
April 16, 2004: This update is more for our local fans in western North Carolina. this is... bill will have a booth set up at the Catawba Valley Hamfest tomorrow (Saturday, April 17th). The decision to set up this booth was made at the last second, thus you are hearing about this on very short notice. We will be showing The Best of this is... bill all day long and myself and some of the other cast members will be there off and on throughout the day. For more info on the hamfest and if you perchance decide to come and need directions, then visit www.cvhamfest.org. Hope to see you there... -stf |
April 15, 2004: I have just made a bunch of minor changes and updates around the site. Nothing earth shaking, just making things more organized and complete... -stf |
April 14, 2004: The episodes are finally back online, though, as I stated before, the only versions available are the low quality ones. When I put up The Best of this is... bill, it will be provided in both high and low quality versions. Look for it on the web on either April 25 or 26. Also, take some time to check out what is going on with our affiliate sites. During our absence, many of them have been running very strong. The Rebels of Egypt have a fantastic new site design, while The Local Felons have been producing plenty of their own zany videos, including a great new Defender Running Show. SPDST has come into its own and has become a very popular site as of late, in fact, they are undergoing an extensive redesign, which will be made available April 21. Anyways, those are the updates for now... -stf |
April 13, 2004: I have finally completed The Best of this is... bill and have exported the WMV versions for the web. It will be released online following its premiere at the UNCC Film Festival on April 25. However, the low quality versions of the four standard episodes should be online very soon. I have also continued updating the photoshop contest pages, so check those out... -stf |
April 06, 2004: I added a few more of the detailed photoshop contest pages. The episodes are still not up, but don't fret, they will be eventually... -stf |
April 05, 2004: I updated the sitemap, Sean's profile, added a couple of buddy icons, and posted 3 of my photoshop contest pictures... -stf |
April 04, 2004: I am glad to see that there have been some visitors coming from here and there on our first day back. I have made a few changes today and will be, as I said, over the next few weeks. I have updated the profiles for myself, Brandon, Tyson, and Michael to include new pictures and some updated info, including our Top 10 skits from all episodes. I have also reorganized the menu structure and have added a few pages that are under construction. Also, you will find that none of the episodes are up yet. I have uploaded the trailers and am currently uploading the wallpapers. The episodes will come next... -stf |

April 03, 2004: The website has finally returned after a two month hiatus. Our previous hosting cancelled our service without giving us any reason, though we believe it was because we annihilated our bandwidth limit. Once the site went down, I decided to give it a rest for awhile, but now things are back in swing again and we have a new host. First of all, the forum is down and all previous posts were unfortunately lost, due to the lack of cooperation from our previous host. I plan to eventually have it back up. Secondly, during the last two months, there has been no filming going on. However, I did recently compile a Best Of... video, using footage from the first two seasons, which runs roughly 40 minutes long. It contains several re-edited skits, where I have removed less funny parts and used different music. I have several edits I will be making to it over the next couple of weeks and then it will be posted here and both high and low WMV versions will be made available. However, we will only be providing low quality versions of the actual 4 episodes from now on. Thirdly, we have at least a couple of film festivals coming up soon, which was my original impetus for creating the Best Of... video. The first is the UNCC Student Film Festival in Charlotte, NC, where we will be defending our Best of Show title this year. The second is the Tour De Art in Morganton, NC which comes later in the summer. If you would like more details, check out the events page. Fourth, I have updated several pages around the site, so take a look around. There is some general housekeeping and updating that I will also be doing over the next few weeks. Fifth, I should be adding a page to showcase my Photoshop Contest pictures soon, so be on the lookout for that. Finally, there is that little issue of the DVD we were planning on doing. Let's just say that is in limbo at the moment. It may happen, it may not, but as always, I'll let you know right here... -stf |
February 03, 2004: There's not too much new stuff to report in the world of this is... bill, however, I have added a couple of links to the similar sites page and down at the bottom of this page as affiliates. One site is Teenage Jackass, the other is Dull Spoon. Check them out... -stf |

January 27, 2004: The iframe for the Jackass 100 is back up again once more, as our little campaign to get other sites to remove it was destined to failure. Although we are really trying to create our own image, the Jackass 100 has been very good to us on several previous occasions, in terms of exposure. Also, myself and the cast have been tossing around the idea of doing a DVD, which would essentially be half old and half new footage. I would anticipate the new footage being the equivalent of a new two episode season of this is... bill, so keep checking back and I will keep you updated... -stf |
January 25, 2004: The Redneck Jokes list has once again been updated and 120+ new jokes have been added, giving us a total of over 1000! Enjoy... -stf |
January 22, 2004: The site is back up and things are running smoothly once more. We apologize to the several thousand people who were unable to download the episodes during our downtime... -stf |
January 21, 2004: This website is experiencing a signifcant and unexpected bandwidth crisis at this time. If have had any trouble accessing our site or our episodes, we deeply apologize for this inconvenience and will let you know when the problem has been resolved with our hosting... -stf |
January 19, 2004: The outpouring of support for Season 2, Episode 2 has been great both on our forum and several others. If you haven't downloaded it yet, you can get it off of the episode downloads page, but there is still only a high quality version available. I thought I would update you on some of the other groups online. Local Felons has been highly active lately, releasing several new videos, including a new part to their acclaimed Defender Running Show series. Rebels of Egypt released a rehashed version of an older skit called Reissued. SPDST has released a few new videos, in addition to their new DVD. One of their new videos is a short clip with Jackass cast member Weeman in it. You can check any of their new stuff out by clicking on their names in this new update or the small banners at the bottom of this page... -stf |
January 17, 2004: After the long wait, Season 2, Episode 2 is now available. At this time, the only version online is the high quality WMV version. The low quality version will be up sometime soon. Enjoy the show and please leave feedback in the forum... -stf |
January 16, 2004: Depending on when I will be able to get the episode file(s) uploaded to the site, Season 2, Episode 2 will be released sometime in the next couple of days, possibly even tomorrow. Make sure to keep a close watch and don't forget to leave us feedback in the forum when you watch it... -stf |
January 15, 2004: Quite some time ago, I had promised to remove our iframe at the bottom of the page after putting it up for a couple of weeks. Now, several months later, I have finally removed it. There has been pressure to get groups to remove their iframes from some of the groups on the list. Removing the iframe will once again make main page loads much faster. The two other sites who have initially led this charge are Stupid People Do Stupid Things and Rebels of Egypt (two of the better, more organized groups you will find). I have now added our site to this mission, to get groups to remove their automatic vote features, in order to achieve a fair and reflective voting system... -stf |
January 13, 2004: You may now see a pop-up when you come this site. It is an advertisement that helps us to pay the monthly hosting charges for the site. Just simply click yes when it asks you to install and move on. Also, Season 2, Episode 2 is closer to being done, as I made several necessary changes to it last night... -stf |
January 7, 2004: Much to the delight of the fans of our Redneck Jokes, I have added yet another 61 of the jokes to that page. Enjoy... -stf |
January 6, 2004: I have updated the Redneck Jokes page with exactly 100 new You Might Be A Redneck If... Jokes that Michael and I came up with over Christmas and New Years... -stf |
January 5, 2004: Editing has been going slowly and I have discovered several changes that need to be made in individual skits, therefore I must continue to push back the release of Season 2, Episode 2. In the meantime, I have added a new link to the Similar Sites page for White Trash, so go give them a look... -stf |
