October 29, 2005 (3:20pm est): The Holiday season is approaching rapidly and we've decided to kick things off by bringing you a bit of music. Last year, Michael and I recorded an album entitled "Holiday Spirit". We will be releasing the songs from this CD in the music section of this site in the time period leading up to Christmas. The first 2 tracks: Jingle Bell Rock and White Christmas have been added to the music page. Simply click the music sign to the left of this update and you can find the links to download them. I have also updated the Photoshop Contest Entries section to be called the Photo Manipulations or "Photo Manips" section. I updated all of the thumbnails on the page to make them current, however, I haven't had a chance to make any new info pages for the images... -stf |

September 27, 2005 (9:45am est): All of the signs for the new theme are now complete. And I have also made some changes to the linkdump. I got rid of all of the sections and now the linkdumps are only listed by date, which should make updating easier in the future. I also added a new linkdump today, which you can access by clicking on the linkdump sign to the left of this update. Today's linkdump features 43 Things You Want To Do With Your Life and a game featuring those weird beasts from the Esuvee commercials... -stf |

September 26, 2005 (5:20pm est): As you can see, the look of the site has changed somewhat dramatically since yesterday. This site has always used a blue/orange color scheme, but it never really had a good visual theme before. I have chosen to use road/caution signs as the theme. All of the old update buttons to the left of updates will eventually be re-created into "sign" buttons that fit within this theme. The banner has been changed already. I would expect updates to become a bit more frequent in the coming weeks... -stf |

August 31, 2005 (10:00am est): In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, many people along the gulf coast are permanently displaced from their homes and living in shelters. The Charlotte based radio station Kiss 95.1, led by its morning show hosts Ace & TJ, have organized a massive effort called "Give To The Gulf". They have been gathering supplies and charitable donations to support the relief efforts in these storm and flood ravaged areas. August 29, 2005 (10:45pm est): This past weekend, we got together and filmed 3 small skits for this is... bill. I can't promise that this is the start of anything major, but it was nice to do some stuff again. Also, our video "Golf Shot 2" is the 2nd this is... bill video to spread like wildfire all over the internet, though once again, we did not receive credit. Because of this, I am beginning the process of splitting our skits up into individual clips that have our watermark on them. I plan on submitting some of the better ones to various sites to try and make up for the lack of visits we should have had from the other two videos. The full episodes will still be available, though I will probably watermark them as well. As for the site, I've been extremely busy with a lot of different projects and such lately, so I haven't had any time to keep it up to date. I have a monsterous archive of linkdumps that I've been boomarking over the last couple of months, so maybe I can get those up sometime soon, but no promises... -stf |

July 9, 2005 (12:30pm est): If ever anything deserved a news update, this is the one. Yesterday, the this is... bill video "Beauty Sleep" aka "Slingshot Wakeup" was featured as the "Web Classic" video on the G4TechTV show "Attack of The Show". We were aware of its popularity all over the net last summer, but to now be featured on a TV show as a web classic is very cool and fulfilling. I am working on a page that I am going to put up at some point that will have information about the airing of our video and hopefully the video clip from the TV show as well, which I was able to record. I believe the episode may be re-airing once again tonight at 12:00am EST. Our video is shown about 45 minutes into the show. Leave us feedback on the forum to let us know if you've seen it! June 24, 2005 (3:45pm est): I must apologize for the lack of updates as of late. I had knee surgery (not because of a skit gone wrong :P) last Thursday and it's difficult to be on the computer for any significant amount of time. However, I have managed to make an update over the course of the time leading up to the surgery and over the past few days, since I have been able to get on the computer a bit more. I have added 4 new pages for my photoshop contest entries. The first two are for my two most recent entries, which earned a 2nd place (Mug Bulb) and a 1st place (Rodeo Manor). The other two are the USB Milker and the Dumbo Handbags Inc. entries. Click the PSC logo to the left of this update to go to the Photoshop Contest entries page, where you can click on the image icons to view the inidivudal pages for each entry. June 10, 2005 (12:30am est): I guess you can call this update a linkdump, though it's a little bit different than the normal format. Basically, I have updated the Homegrown Jackass / CKY sites page in the linkdump section. This included resorting the list to read alphabetically and adding about a dozen new sites, as well as showing which sites/groups are active and inactive. If you would like to be added to this list, please visit our contact page and email the webmaster with your link and an 88x31 banner. I have also added Homegrownforums.com to the list of crucial sites in our site menu, which is pretty much the center of the homegrown community now, which makes it a relevant link for us to have there... -stf |

June 9, 2005 (11:30am est): I have finally added a new photoshopcontest.com entry. It is the page for my most recent daily contest entry, which was a hovercar that earned me my 18th win on the site. To view this entry click the PSC icon to the left of this update. I have also updated the format of the page to show the required source above my entry for comparison and then a few minor mods in the format of the page. I am also trying to add in a site menu at the base of any new pages I make and hopefully all of the exisiting ones at some point, which should be good for site navigation purposes. -stf |

June 4, 2005 (11:50pm est): Ok, there are several things to mention. First, as you can see by the icon next to this update, we have added a new section to the site. It is called "Top Ten Lists". This section features the opinions of three billtvshow.com staff members: myself, Tyson, and new staff member Kevin, who also posts in the forum quite frequently as well. The top ten list topics will range from the relevant to the nonsensical, and hopefully somewhere along the way we can make a few people laugh. We have started out with " The Top 10 Liquids." You can click the Top 10 icon to the left of this update to check out this first list in the series. I have also added a new section in the forum to accomodate the Top 10 Lists section. Feel free to post your reactions or even your own lists there. Tyson and Kevin will be gone on vacation this week, but when they get back, you can expect new lists to be added to the Top 10 section soon thereafter. Also, after careful review of the this is... bill footage that we filmed the other night, I have determined that only one of the skits is truly "episode worthy" and another is possibly worth posting on the site as a special feature. June 2, 2005 (12:35am est): This is the update this is... bill fans have been waiting for. Although it is not a guarantee of a third season, we have filmed several new videos, four to be precise. The videos feature myself and one other cast member from the show and were filmed entirely indoors. After all is said and done with editing, I expect 2 of them to be "episode worthy", 1 to be borderline, and the other to perhaps find its way onto this site in another capacity. The plan is to release all of these videos onto the site as soon as I can get them edited. Sorry for being cryptic, but all will be revealed in good time... -stf |

I combined a couple of other midi's that I was working on at the time into one and added several extra sections to the song, making it by biggest midi that I ever composed. May 25, 2005 (11:40pm est): I have made an update to the crucial sites list in our main menu. I removed one site that seems to have become inactive and have added a new site that, after looking at it even more, is one of the most innovative comedy sites I've ever seen on the net and shares a very similar style of humor to ours at billtvshow.com. I introduced it in the linkdump earlier today and it has quickly grown on me, so without further ado: please go and take a look at Spamusement!, a hillarious comic site that points fun at the titles of spam emails with unexpected comedic twists. I also added in the fantastic photoshopcontest.com (aka PSC), which should have been linked there a long time ago... -stf |

The first link on the list leads to the site of one of the most fantastic digital artists I have ever seen, a fellow who is known as Anry. May 22, 2005 (11:15pm est): Hey, this is Tyson here for a change. Stephen ended up winning the 2005 Photoshopcontest.com Head to Head Tournament that he mentioned in the May 13th update. The funny thing was that the contest was decided by only one vote and I didn't even know which pic was his. My vote could have gone either way on that one, because both pics looked like his style. Fortunately I picked his and he eventually came out the winner by the narrowest of margins. Click here to view the final match. Simply click the bold "Comment" link at the bottom of any update to be taken to the appropriate forum topic where you can post your feedback. I hope to be updating the site frequently soon, however I have been locked in a heated head to head photoshopping tournament at photoshopcontest.com and have made it to the Final Four out of a field of 128 "choppers". March 8, 2005 (1:15 pm est): Today marks the launch of the new version of billtvshow.com. The site is no longer solely focused around this is... bill. Instead, it has now become an entertainment website, with the "other content" sections from the old site having even more focus. Though you can still find the videos of this is... bill here, there are other sections that feature the talents and/or the opinions of billtvshow.com's staff. These include: Music, Photoshop Contests, Digital Photography, Redneck Jokes, Which of The Following, and the Linkdump. In the future we will likely add even more sections. As you can see to the left, each section is accompanied by an icon. When there is news or an update regarding that section, its icon will show up to the left of the news or update. You can click on that icon to go directly to the related update. So, have a look through the site and keep your eyes peeled for updates... -stf |
