The Refusal Pool

This is the list of tasks that a cast member must choose from if they refuse their assigned task that was set for them.

Solo Tasks

1. "Talk To The Hand"
Your task is to literally talk to your hand. Use a hand puppet that you make or a drawing on your hand with eyes and a mouth. You will need to talk to your hand while at work, just like you would a fellow co-worker or a friend. If some one asks who you are talking to, you will need to introduce them and let them talk to the hand.
Requirements: You will need to provide video or picture proof of your hand puppet, and at least three instances, at least 1 min. long, where you talk to the hand (with one being with someone else talking to the hand). You need to give it a name, and a voice to go along with it. It is wide open as to when you talk to your hand as long as it is at work. Have fun with this one and remember "Talk To The Hand".

2. "El Cheapo"
Go to a mexican restaurant and order ONLY the cheapest thing on the menu, regardless of what it is.
Requirements: Describe what you ordered, including its price and the reactions of your server. You must post a picture of what you ordered, etc.

3. "Public Restroom Obsession"
Anytime that you have to use the restroom today, you must use a public restroom and the restroom must be different each time. If this requires you to hold it, so be it.
Requirements: Describe every location that you used and whether it was number 1 or 2. You must post a picture of each location as well.

4. "Town Hall Hunt"
Travel to another town at least 10 miles away from your home town. You must find their town hall.
Requirements: Describe where you went and what you saw. You must post a picture of the town hall, with you in the picture if possible.

5. "Jedi Mind Trick"
Today your task is to be a Jedi.
If anyone asks, your name today is "Your Name + the letter I" Wan Kenobi. You should use a Jedi mind trick as often as possible.
If the waitress tells you your bill is $5.00, convince her that it's really $3.50 and so on.
You should tell of at least 3 definite times that you used the mind trick on a weak minded fool. (Insert Jabba laugh)
Take this as far as you want, but make sure to take pictures, audio, or video of your mind tricks in progress if at all possible.
Give a recount of what people thought of your new name and how they responded to your mind tricks!

6. "From Justin To Kelly"
You must rent and watch the movie "From Justin To Kelly".
Requirements: You must post a picture that proves that you rented it. You must also take a picture of the movie on your tv screen and post it. Write a review, in your own words, of the movie.

7. "Red Bull Gives You Wings"
You just drink one Red Bull every hour from 8am to 4pm (9 total).
Requirements: Describe how drinking so much red bull affected you and provide either photo or video evidence of the task.

8. "Shhhh!!!!"
Choose 10 words. These 10 words are the only words you can speak from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Should there be an instance where you have some important meeting at work, then you are allowed to pause your task, but you must make up the time after 5:00 p.m. You are allowed to write down anything at all to help you communicate, but you must only speak the 10 words you chose!
Requirements:
Post the ten words, a description of your day, and any proof that you can to prove your completion of task. The makers of Rutless are not responsible if you are harmed or die as a result of this task. ;P

9. "Support The Home Team"
Go to a local sporting event that lasts more than one hour.
Requirements: Describe the event that you went to and its outcome. Post pictures from the event as well.

10. "Braveheart Reenactment"
Reenact the major battle scene from Braveheart.
Requirements: Gather as many friends or people as you can to a field or park. You will be William Wallace and they will be your army. Give a speech, paint your face, throw a "sword", etc. Try to reenact the famous battle scene of the movie as best you can. Obviously, you need to try to post video if at all possible. Otherwise, multiple pictures will be ok.

11. "Thing In A Jar
Today you must carry around a thing in a jar with you.
Requirements: Go to this site: http://www.traipse.com/thing_in_a_jar/
Now you know what you need to do. Create a thing in a jar and carry it with you today. Take some pics for us so we can see it. Let us know if people asked about it and if so, what they thought it was.

12. "Secret Admirer"
Today you need to pick someone either at work or wherever and be their secret admirer.
Requirements: It’s always nice to know you’re appreciated and even nicer when it’s anonymous. Today you need to let someone know how much they are appreciated by being their secret admirer. You can write notes, leave little gifts, or do one of their dreaded job requirements without them knowing who you are. Take pictures of the gifts, write description of the notes you left and tell us about your day. Tell us who you picked and why.

13. "Deff Comp 3"
Today you must build 3 computers with a limited budget.
Requirements: You must build three different computers to serve three different functions with a limited budget. Don't get your panties in a bunch. You will visit Tigerdirect.com and find the parts to build the computers and post the prices and why you picked the parts to build that particular computer. Here are you three computers and their budgets:
1. A family computer that needs to be able to burn DVD/CD and needs to be able to download pictures from media cards.
Budget: $600
2. The ultimate gaming computer that has everything that you will need to do both online gaming and network party gaming.
Budget: $900
3. A personal business computer that you will need to run your at home business that allows you to take images or powerpoint presentations to outside businesses to sell your product. This will have to include either a blackberry or other form of traveling device.
Budget:$1250
Have fun and don't forget that you will need everything from tower to screen.
Give us written details about each and any relevant photos or links that you can include.

14. Harry Potter And The Two Towers
You must pretend to know who dies in the last Harry Potter book and try to get people to pay you for the info and if so say that Bilbo Baggins dies.
Requirements: Your task is to go around telling people that you know the secret of the last Harry Potter book, which comes out later this month. You can tell them that you are J.K. Rowling's second cousin and that she told you the secret. Tell people you are charging and see if anyone will pay you money to learn who dies in the last book.
If anyone does pay, you must tell them that Bilbo Baggins dies. This is the great secret you have and that is what you must tell people. If you must, you can make up something else completely different, as long as it's not the real truth... which I guess we'll all find out later. :)
Tell us if anyone fell for your trick and paid you money. Also, tell us what story you came up with as the secret. You can also include audio or video if possible.


Two Person Team Tasks

1. "Hide And Seek"
You are assigned to go to a local store, preferably a Wal*Mart, but a grocery store will do, and play a game of good old fashioned Hide and Seek. Make a game out of it. Have the person with the fastest time be the winner. Get someone to time you, or do it yourself.
Requirements: Get video or photos. You must be together at the place of business and tell us all about your hiding spots, and who had the best time, and the best place to hide. Good Luck.

2. "Standard Orbit"
You just walk a mile on a public track or greenway. During the first half of the mile, one of you must orbit the other person like a satellite or moon would orbit a planet. On the second half, you must switch places.
Requirements: You must post video or video highlights of the walk, hopefully including the reactions of people who witness your performance of this task.

3. "Napoleon Dynamite Reenactment"
You must reenact three 15+ second scenes from Napoleon Dynamite. All three scenes must involve both of you.
Requirements: Post a video of the re-enacted scenes, with the real scenes before each re-enacted scene if possible.
