5/15/2007: Nathan Has Completed "Fountain of Youth"

I found that people in today's world don't believe all that they hear. I went to a park in Morganton that Stephen had mentioned, because all the fountains around here for this task could be thought of as trespassing. I went to the park and saw a lot of kids playing around in the water. I went right in with them and started walking around waiting for someone to ask me that golden question. I finally got one kid interested and he finally did it. I told him that I was 75 years old and this fountain was the so called "Fountain of Youth". he looked at me like I was crazy and ran off. Another guy you will see in the video said hey and again asked the golden question. I jumped on the train to lead him on. I told him the same and he laughed. I also told him that I was to marry my hott looking secretary in two weeks and he said "No Way". I had to add that this was a turn off for her, me being this young. He laughed and again I got a walk off look like I was crazy. In all I had fun with this task and I hope that the people of Morganton don't think I am crazy for what I did.

5/15/2007: Nathan Accepts "Fountain of Youth"

I think this will be a fun task to complete. I don't know where I will find a fountain to walk in that won't get me into trouble, but I will try to find one that I will have plenty of opportunity to have people to talk to me. Thank you Allison for a great Rutless task.

5/14/07: Allison assigns "Fountain of Youth" to Nathan

Nathan, your task is going to be fun, unless you're a germophobe. Your task is to find a big water fountain. You are to walk around in the fountain. When onlookers ask you what you are doing, you must tell them that it's a fountain of youth and that you are actually 75 years old.
Requirements: Provide video or photographic proof of yourself walking in the fountain. If you don't know where a fountain is, I know there's a fountian in front of city hall in Hickory. You must wait for at least one person to ask you what you are doing. Then, post their response to your reply.

Have fun and watch out for alligators!
