6/29/07: Allison has Completed "Logline Challenge"

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I had a great time making my movie. It is my crowning achievment and I think I deserve an Oscar for Best Director, Best Movie, AND Best Actress.

I call it "Lotto Devorcees" (Creative, I know).

Here is the video in all of it's glory.
Here is the script to go along with it. (will be adding later)

I think you'll find that this is the best 2 minutes of your life. Really.

I had to use my regular digital picture camera to make this, as my camcorder is evil.

Jack is played by my coworker Daniel, Who has a hard time keeping a straight face.

Stephen was going to be my Jack, but something came up at the last moment and he had to turn down my script. You know those Hollywood types.

All in all, I think this is the best Rutless task I've ever done.

5/8/2007: Todd Has Completed "Old McDonald"

This being my first task and all, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I went into work with the full intention of getting a lot of laughs and a lot of strange looks. I got the day started on a pretty good note, but as the day progressed I found little time to get away to be an animal. When I was filming the first shot outside, I had told a few of the guys in the office what I was doing and when I started filming that part, they just happened to walk up and start harassing me. If you listen closely, you can hear them in the background “bocking” along with me. There were a few people off-camera that chuckled as they went by. In the shot with “guy in cube #39” (where I was making dog noises), he seemed like he was a little scared of me from that point on. He's a great guy, but I don't think he'll ever look at me the same again.

I had to leave from work and go straight to my son’s baseball game that’s where the last two shots were filmed. I had told the kids that we were going to make animal noises and they were so funny, I couldn’t help but include them in my submission.

All-in-all this was a fun task. Even though I don’t think I did it justice (didn't get to do an animal every hour), I do get extra points for adding in some cute kids, don’t I?!

Thanks Nathan for the laughs! Oh, and if you get a strange package at your door that smells of 3 year old pork rinds, I don't know anything about it. :)
